Re: networks support

I didn't know Ares at all, lol...

KAD is already implemented in aMule, and the other won't be as aMule will follow eMule's way

Ares

http://aresgalaxy.sourceforge.net/

maybe is not popular where you are from, lol. but in other countries it is. what damage can do, to add a new network? everyone makes its own way. even when he follow what he think is the other path.
you say, we already have this, and will keep this way. adding something else its crazy. thnks anyway. ive been using emule for almost 8 years, its great.

Re: networks support

This project looks quite dead to me. Not that it appears to ever have been thriving.

Seriously, we've had the discussion about adding other (useful, like BT) protocols in the past and decided against it.

Re: networks support

Really. aMule was/is/will be a client for the eD2k network. It's still better to support one network well than supporting many poorly.

i understand the one simple things good but i think add bt support can't be bad for others networks no ? with is gui amule can be more attractive like mldonkey and some people are familiar with e/amule gui.
