You can get anything to crash it appears.

I'm wondering why it calls wxSocketImplUnix::OnReadWaiting when you compiled it with Boost.
Only place left for wxSockets is wxHTTP (to download ipfilters, nodes.dat and such).

I'm pretty sure the only place where wx networking is still used in Boost builds is the http downloads. No idea which of them could have caused your crash. Most of them are on startup only.
